Fuck Y'all: LA Witness Statement #1...

¡Hola...!

Posted late due to the excessive length and resticted free time... but still relevant...  You will all have to bear with me as I have the memory of a dead fish... but there is more than one side to every story... so not one member knows all the facts...

I have held my silence over the past for so long because it is a forgotten part of LA's history that does not concern anyone except those involved at the time... including current XFaders... but since the issue keeps cropping up and orion (oh shit... I dropped his name...) is not holding back... it is only fair for LA to hear the other side for a change...

And it goes like this...

orion (oops...) and I used to be cool with each other...  We would hit each other up on MSN... and feed off each other's egos on LA... often backing each other up when faced with a common enemy...  There was definately rivalry from the start...  I go on holiday for a few weeks... and a new member comes in to take my top spot...  But that took the pressure off me and the competition was most welcome...  He also introduced me to some of my favourite artists...  At that time... respect was mutual...  What has not changed about orion (oops again...) since then are his efforts and desire to win all the time...  I congratulate him on his success...  My failure at life as a crew leader pales in comparison... but that is not why I hate him...

The whole history and philosophy of XFade II (before XFade: Revolution) can be saved for a more appropriate time, place and thread [or abstracts may be referenced within this post]... but XFade II was eventually displaced as the top crew on LA as I was displaced as the top text-battler... first by ILLA... then by orion (last time... I promise)... I think...  I can't remember exactly...

We can accuse each other of hate... but I have never been a fan of BiggStankDogg's style...  I found his flow (for me... a crucial element) to be choppy... often due to good concepts delivered in long lines...  However... he is known for throwing hard punches and personals in and out of battles...  I am not a fan of his lyrical style... but no doubt it is effective in battles judging by his score...  On my relative scale... I did not rate him back then... but nor did I hate him...  In my view... he took my criticisms as personally as I took his... and the beef escalated from there...  Crew leaders were inevitably involved... but I have never had a problem with any of the other Renegades...  The respect is still there with them... despite their involvement in what was to happen... because they were not aware of the full facts either...  Most of them don't really know why we were going back and forth...  They joined in because they were doing what they were supposed to do... back their crew...  The reasons and excuses came afterwards...

I'll back my crew to the end... but if my members have personal beef then that is up to them to sort out...  However... if I am brought into it unwillingly... I will have to jump in to settle things...  ¿Failure at life...?  ¿Scotty's Asian boyfriend...?  ¿His Asian lover...?  Seems like you have some issues in your own life to sort out first...  ¿And I am the one that won't drop your name...?  I have tried to be civilised...  I have tried ignoring you...  Now you have my attention...  I'll take the bait this time...  Our history has nothing to do with the present XFaders... as their current problems with you have nothing to do with me...  Don't presume we have nothing better to do than bitch about you or Renegades 24/7...  I would make the crew forum public again had my crew not objected...  Let the cross-examinations begin...

This was not meant to be serious...  It is just the internet...  It is a game... Scotty's game...  Scotty and I only became "buddies" when I wasn't the number one ranked battler...  Back then... we ripped his Klass A and beloved ILL-Power apart...  I got sick of arguing with him over serious improvements for the site which were persistently ignored...  He just doesn't like it when one member or one crew seems to be taking over his site...  He made LA for all members to share... a community...  His community...  ¡What a(n oxy)moron...!  How he treats other members... now and back then... is an issue that does not involve me...

Before it's demise... XFade II was the top crew with the most experienced site members...  I returned from another holiday to find that most of our established members had left... and the remaining members... including myself... were not regularly active...  Therefore it was difficult for us to recruit fresh talent... and we were left with inactive members and unproven newbies with little or no reputation...  Some turned out to be biters... and the others left to elevate with more active crews... or were driven out by the rest of LA...  I was single-handedly repping XFade II lyrically... alongside Demonic... who did not/could not battle and was a Moderator...  With little free time to spare for LA... the crew became dead...  I still played my part when I had a few hours to kill at home online... but otherwise I did not really care...  It was just the internet...  I can survive without LA and LA can survive without me...

After a while I recruited a mixture of active newbies who could basically rhyme and stand up to LA regardless of rank or talent... "LA's Most Hated"...  Elevation was still the main goal...  Given time... all newbies have the potential to elevate... and the hated could earn respect...  Among them... the infamous Tec (to whom I gave a second chance as Xtra)... X-Calibur (who I used to beef with as Kritical... one of Scotty's acquaintances)... DevanX (who was kicked from Renegades and ILL-Power for having double accounts... so joined XFade II with a third)... and last but not least... Belairesfinest (who became a key player in the unfolding drama)...

Belairesfinest could keystyle good, original multies naturally... and he knew his shit about Hip-Hop... if he cared to share...  His main problem was that he stepped on too many toes from the start... took the piss too much... and disrespected the site as a whole...  ¡He was a XFader at heart...!  He was hated by LA before he joined us...  He was the Tawabamule of the time... following a post showing knowledge and maturity with another full of unrestrained personal flaming directed against one member...  Unfortunately for Belairesfinest... he decided to pick on the leader of Renegades... and he was no Matt The Ripper...

Behind the scenes... I debated with the leader of the crew that dominated the golden era of LA on MSN (as we often did back then) over why I could not accept Belairesfinest into XFade II... and why he must be banned from the site...  What was happening on LA really seemed to piss him off and get him emotionally wound up...  My argument was that the dude was just messing about...  On MSN... he could act civilised one minute then be annoyingly stupid the next...  I simply ignored/blocked the stupidity... and he soon stopped it with me...  I liked his rhymes and it is always sad for LA to lose any potentially good lyricist...  To be honest... he could be quite funny at times... and although he enjoyed the community aspect of LA... he did not take this shit seriously at all...  LA and textceeing were just a passing phase for him...  He left LA before most of you joined... but he still hits me up on MSN from time to time...

Belairesfinest never did anything to me...  I did not want him banned...  I have had members come at me and flame me for no logical reason... but I don't call for them to be banned...  I recruited him into XFade II as a way for him to stay and be accepted... like Cee-Jay and Rameez...  As a crew... we have had many members come and go...  As a policy set by myself... no member was ever kicked...  All members were free to leave at any time without beef...  Loyalty was rewarded with access to Apollo's account... if desired...  All XFaders at that time had access to Apollo's account... though few used it...  Crew forums were password protected at that time... so any member who knew the password for any other crew could view and post in the forum...  Apparently... it was common for members from rival crews to exchange passwords privately to gain access to another crew's forum...  They were only a minority and the rest of us were totally unaware...  It is why crew forums can now only be accessed by crew members and not just anyone with the forum password...

Unknown to other XFaders... orion (fuck it... he's a dick...) had the XFade II forum password...  I had given it to him myself the first time he asked... way before Belairesfinest came on the scene... and not because I expected something in return...  He acted bewildered and surprised then that another crew leader would divulge such privileged information...  We had nothing to hide...  There was never anything in the crew forum that could not be shared with the rest of LA... no dirty laundry... no bitching behind backs...  I encourage my crew to shut up and just spit...  That is why it was left unlocked for a long time until crew members requested differently...  He could never do the same due to his paranoia and mistrust of people... and his desperate need to hide his meticulous crew secrets...  Unbeknown to both of us however... Belairesfinest already had access to the Renegade forum after exchanging passwords with Raptor/Abstrakt... a Renegade and LA Moderator at the time...  Abstrakt was another decent member who did not take LA too seriously...  I was not arsed...  It was just the internet...  No harm could be done...  ¿Right...?

I guess it was okay back then to view another crew's forum when your online status was hidden... but Belairesfinest never remained Anonymous... and the almighty orion (dickhead... sue me...) was furious at this blatant breach of privacy and snooping of crew secrets... by a hater...  It's like Matt The Ripper getting home to find his girl getting fucked by Tawabamule in his favourite chair...  It goes for all egos... we all have to have the last say in every matter...  Arguing in and out of verses was useless... so orion retaliated best he could...  He didn't need to infiltrate the crew because I had already given him the password...  He rallied up his Renegades and carried out a spam campaign in the XFade II forum after giving them our password...  Other Renegades became involved... and details of Apollo's account were found in one of the threads...  Apollo's account was hacked... and Belairesfinest was kicked from the crew by the hacker...  At the time I was surprised that the hacker had not kicked us all... but I figured he was just trying to teach us a lesson rather than cause total chaos...  But fuck it... it's just the internet...  If some kid wants to go off on one then fine...  It is history... but the threads are still there...  I have no reason to delete them or drag them up...

I took the hacking of the crew as a personal attack on me...  I have read many theories from people who don't know anything and think they know it all but weren't even around then about why XFade II was hacked and the events surrounding it...  Everyone has their own story to tell...  I never thought I would actually have to tell mine but here it is...  You see the bigger picture when you take a step back... and after slowly piecing the puzzle together since then... I fathomed that the XFade II forum was hacked because orion was really pissed off...  He was pissed off by Señor Perfecto's flippant attitude on LA... my refusal to kick a crew member... the infiltration of the Renegade forum by a hater... the disclosure of their own forum password... and Scotty's refusal to ban anyone on his say-so...  Well... tough shit...  I accepted what happened and moved on a long time ago...  The current XFaders had nothing to do with what happened and it certainly is not important enough for me to dwell on after so long...  It is a joke that I am actually forced to have to explain my side of things... but I am not going to remain silent while some faggot who measures success in pound signs and Internet titles is practising sway-the-jury on the internet...

A long time ago... Señor Perfecto and orion were cool...  I did not hate him during the crew beef... the beef was fun and productive...  I did not hate him for superseding my own and my crew's position... crews and members come and go...  I did not hate him for hating Belairesfinest... I agree he was a flamer...  I did not hate him for viewing our crew forum... I gave him the password so he could do so...  I do not doubt his text ability back then...  He lost my respect because he betrayed my trust and acted like a bitch...  He failed the test by sharing the forum password for malicious purposes...  I do not care about anything else...  That is why he is a dick to me...  Why he is a dick to other people is not of my concern...  Other members can be dicks too... even if not to me... and I can ignore them all to an extent...  It does not stop me from enjoying my time on LA...

Renegades were a good crew...  They had talented members and were most active around the site...  Nowadays... they have exploited the internet to fully promote themselves as an organisation off LA...  Congratulations... seriously...  No... seriously...  Not all internet-crews have... or should have... the same aspirations...  Some people do this solely for fun or out of boredom...  They have not failed because they have different targets...  I thought LA was a place for me to express myself lyrically... not to get recognition for it... and not to get paid...  It is nice to have talent recognised... though criticisms should be accepted at all levels...

So that is the real history and background which lead to the incident between XFade II and Renegades in 2005 from the Perfecto-point of view...  The dust settled after that... though I got sick of LA and lost motivation to even check the site for a while...  XFade II was dead again...  Of course... there were calls for the crew to be disbanded... but Scotty refused for his own reasons... without the need for my persuasive fellatio skills...  Others argued with him like their pathetic lives depended on it so they could claim victory...

A couple of years later... there was another incident which everyone was mislead about... and which I must also speak out on to clear my name...  A few months earlier... whilst logged in as Apollo... I noticed there were extra options/icons for all posts and every members' profile...  I also had access to the administration forum...  Being Señor Perfecto... I was not going to let this unique opportunity pass without having some fun first...  A few members' profiles and member titles were changed...  Among them... Junior... Dalinquent... and hanGing... who I found hilarious when he complained...  Yes... rules were broken... but no damage was done...  I am not justifying what I did... but what happened and the consequences of my actions had no relevance to your lives or your time on LA...  I exposed the flaw to Scotty... who eventually fixed it so members with Newbie status (eg. Apollo) no longer had Administrator permissions... but not before I had told Mackie and Prophecy...  I am powerful... but I have never had Mod powers...

Once I was accused of hacking... months after the events... other members quickly jumped onto the bandwagon...  You cannot get rid of Señor Perfecto permanently... but this was a great opportunity to discredit him...  Junior pissed me off with his bullshit and bitching... and I tried to refrain from responding until I had no choice but to explain myself to our Lead Moderator...  I did not have to explain myself to the rest of LA until now...  It would be fair for someone like orion to presume that it was I who hacked his account...  Afterall... it would have been the fitting revenge for the XFade II forum being hacked...  It makes logical sense...  It is what his type of person would have done in the same situation...  However... I state for the record that I did not hack orion's account...  Fuck what he believes/says...  ¿Who is he...?  Nobody to me...  He lost my respect years ago and he is nowhere near to getting it back with his recent tirades...  Up until this month... I refrained from responding to his bullshit threads and posts...  I ignored him and Renegades as a crew completely...  I refused to acknowledge his worthless existence...  If they wanted me to be the hacker... then fine...  They can play the poor innocent victims in all of this...

Noone was interested in what really happened...  They were just excited by the online drama...  ¡Fuck the evidence...!  ¡Convince the jury...!

I am no lawyer... but I can definately make a better job of it than this sports journalist...  So let's look at the facts...  There was a loophole in the system that I exploited... I have admitted to that...  At least two other members knew of the loophole...  One of them exploited the same loophole to log into orion's account...  I say it was not me...  ¿So who could it have been...?  I have my suspicions... but it is no use to raise them now...  Whoever hacked into orion's account PMed a verse to another member's account...  That member deleted the PM...  I do not know the rest and I do not care... though as I say... I have my own theories...

So whatever you want to call me... go for it...  I am mature enough to take it without offense...  That goes for everyone...  At my age... I should not be writing rhymes on a website with a bunch of kids... let alone be arguing with them...  Anything not mentioned... like the XFade II/Dynasty merger... is irrelevant for this post but can be elaborated on later...  ¡Longest post in LA history, motherfuckers...!

And the current 'hate' of XFaders has nothing to do with the past AT ALL... I make XFade jokes, no doubt - the crew is a bit of a joke - but people like DTK are only wack because they're wack... it's nothing to do with your crew... Calibra is as talented as anybody I've seen on here in a long time and seems to have gotten over his fear of bullying... Woods is better than some give him credit for, though obviously with some work to do and some inner-black to repress

Anyway... so that's that... To answer Jehu's question, the problem I have with this guy is simply the childish ways in which he reacted to the threat of myself and Renegades as a whole...and of course the self-righteous reaction when he got hit with some of the same shit... Just having a laugh... right? Or when Renegades do it, is it taking things too seriously? I forget...remind me of the rules again...
