Your Football- Guessing you mean the American kind then, the rugby rip off, and over here, rugby players don't have to wear fucking pads and safety shit. Only America even cares about it, claiming the Super Bowl is the biggest sporting event in the world.. Compare it to a World Cup.. Which is a football tournament.. Exactly.. And what kind of sport needs to stop every fucking 5 minutes to get some fireworks and cheerleaders going just to keep the attention of the crowd.. A shit sport to be honest. And on the "gay-ometer", it's big men tagging each other to the crowd with the odd bit of "friendly" arse slapping..

Basketball- I have no problem with Basketball even if it's not my thing. But as far as "manliness", it's guys running around throwing a ball in to a hoop.. And they're not aloud to make contact with each other.. It's in some ways just a more mobile Netball.. A girls game..

Baseball- It's hard to compare a contact and non contact sport, but while we're on the subject.. Probably the most boring sport i've ever tried to sit down and watch.. It's a sport only fondly known of because of a song, and the novelties of being in the crowd, having a hotdog, singing a chant, maybe catching to ball itself to sell on Ebay when you get home.. Not for the sport, as a sport.. Fucking hell it's limited.. 1 bat 1 ball 1 throw 5 possible outcomes.. The kind of sport catering for people who can only count til 5..

Football has it's Pre-madonna's, but not on most levels.. Yes if you watch the Premiershit.. Over paid foreigners prancing about. But at the level i watch, it's fucking solid. The amount of ground you have to cover over 90 minutes would leave half of you "hardmen" keeled over gasping for air. I know there are more physical sports, but have a particualrly bloody clash of heads or get studs dragging down your leg, or break the now ever popular bones in your feet maybe not by even tackling, but just from the sheer mobility needed in the game.. Then call it gay..


Sorry for the rant, but i hate yanks just calling Football (the real football) gay, just because they might have watched the odd Man U game, and are pissed because we actually came up with the biggest sport in the world, and it's good enough not to need little fucking gimmicks to draw a crowd in to stay for the whole game.
