Right...I Know Some Of You Have Trouble Comin Up With Punches An How To Word Em, So I'll Show Ya How To Do It. First Off, The Punch Will Be Based On Me, Coz I Dont Wanna Start Shit. Secondly, I'll Also Show You My Tactics Of Creating A Bar...

Ok, Firstly Think Of A Personal Against The Person. Im In A Lazy Mood Here., So I'll Jus Use A Punch From My Battle With Junior Shade Where We Had To Diss Ourselves. The Thing I Based This Punch On Was The Initials PB. The First Thing That Came Into My Head When I Thought Of PB Was Personal Best.

Now That I Know What The Foundation Of The Punch Is (Personal Best), You Try An Think Of A Word To Put Down The Opponent, In This Case 'Broken', 'Smash', 'Wipe Out' Etc. I Chose To Use Smash As It Has A More Aggresive Manner. I Happen To Start Most Of My Punchlines With 'Coz Im'a' , Coz It's A Really Good Way To Link From The Setup Line From The Punchline, Unless You Have A REALLY GOOD Setup Line, Which I Ended Up With Here, Which You'll See Later. You Should Always Fiddle Round With The Words Tho, To See What Rolls Off The Tongue Better. Anyway, I Came Up With This

Coz Im'a 'Smash PB' Like Proffesional Athletes

It's Then That You Think Of Multies, Rather Than An Immediate Setup Line... So...

Pro-ffes-ion-al Ath-letes

Pick The Syllables That Have The Most Emphasis On (Bolded) An Try An Come Up With Rhymes For Them Syllables, But Dont Forget The Golden Rule. You MUST ALWAYS Have The EXACT SAME AMOUNT OF SYLLABES IN MULTIES, Otherwise It Knocks The Flow Off Completely.

Hair-dress-ers-in-back-seats

You'll-Nev-er-sur-pass-me

Etc. As You Can See Tho, It Doesn't Matter Whether Or Not The Unbolded Syllables Rhyme Or Not, As Long As There's Some That Do. I Know That 'Dress' And 'Nev' Aren't EXACT Rhymes, They're Called Indirect Rhymes. This Means They Both Have The 'eh' Sound In. This Also Applys With Back And Pass, They Both Have The 'Ah' Sound In, And In Seat An Me, They Both Have The 'EE' Sound In. In The End I Was Lucky To Come Out With

A-Vet-er-ans-ass-beat

Which Helped Me Come Out With...

Blank Just Battles N00bs, He Never Gets A Veterans Ass Beat
They All Just 'Smash PB' Like Proffesional Athletes

KABOOM

Please Let Me Know If This Help's You Or Not. I Hope It Does...

or other easy way to make multis is using perfect rhyme or similar sound 1's

read your lines
bleed four times

^ pick the easiest words that rhymes with each other..
 read/bleed  your/four  lines/times ...

Rameez... if you follow Point Blank's tutorial... you will see that in your example... "read", "your" and "lines" are all emphasised...

This means that in order to make multies... you will have to rhyme all three words... as you have done...  Restricting your rhymes to perfect rhymes severely limits the amount and variety of multies which you can come up with...  A much easier way is to use assonance rhymes which have the same vowel sounds but different consonants...

Quote read your lines
bleed four times
teen whores hide
Seymour's blind

Now... if you take the same words but only emphasise "read" and "lines"... you will have the same phrase and same meaning... but to make multies you have to rhyme both emphasised words... but remember to keep a spacing of one syllable between them...

Quote read your lines
need a sign
bleed a while
green designs
see behind

Some of these examples sound more forced than others...  Experiment with your own rhymes to create fluid multies...  However... multies which sound good are useless without meaning...  This is just one element of lyricism...

Adios...Geek

Word. Good tutorial Peanut Butter.

Ram, it's only obvious that it's easier to use assonance rhymes because there is a broader variety of words to choose from and switch it up with. I noticed that almost all new emcees tend to rhyme words that are spelled the same at the end, or usually share the same suffix. GRanted, these words do rhyme, but by thinking of the sound of the word, rather than the spelling, you are opening a much broader lexicon for your spits. One of the things you should really focus on, so that you can get that ever-so-sick flow that uncle sage has. Church. Geek

thanks sage n fatal.. I' dig into rhyming and I found all types of rhyming used in hiphop.. hope this helps every1... the one that is yellow is the one we usually use the most

*The basic scheme in each & every verse, the heart of the flow.

Perfect rhyme: Term refers to the immediately recognizable norm: true/blue, mountain/fountain.

Imperfect rhyme:
Term referring to rhymes that are close but not exact: lap/shape, glorious/nefarious.

Eye rhyme: Based on similarity of spelling rather than sound. Often these are highly conventional, and reflect historical changes in pronunciation: love/move/prove, why/envy.

Rich rhyme: A word rhymes with its homonym: blue/blew, guessed/guest.

Assonant rhyme:
Rhyming with similar vowels, different consonants: dip/limp, man/prank.

Consonant rhyme: Rhyming with similar consonants, different vowels: limp/lump, bit/bet.

Scarce rhyme: Rhyming on words with limited rhyming alternatives: whisp/lisp, motionless/oceanless.

Macaronic rhyme: Macaronic verse uses more than one language, as in medieval lyrics with Latin refrains. Macaronic rhyme is also bilingual: glory/pro patria mori, sure/kreatur, queasy/civilisé.

Rameez, u aint really need a tutorial for punches, best way is to see how other people do it and then practise it yourself. If you really need help maybe checkout jumpoff.tv and look at the battles on there, u can see from crowd reaction on there what a good punch is ;)
