Kay - You got your Vance links the wrong way around you dummy...I was thinking like, what the fuck does some flowers got to do with "fly shit"...anyways...the majority of your verse were reference punches, some were good...a lot were bland...you also tend to focus on the idea rather than the actual diss/punch, for instance "vance producing flowers"...that has got to be the most hopeless http://rhymezone.com/r/rhyme.cgi?Word=euphemism&typeofrhyme=def&org1=syl&org2=l" rel="nofollow - euphemism I have seen in my life...why you would even want to use it escapes me, not like it's linked into your punch...the Vance nameplay was decent, but it was another reference punch...fly shit was basic, its an air force base...what's that got to do with winning?  ....your multis were decent though, some a bit stretched but they were ok...and I don't know why on earth you said "Point or DTK" punch, surely you will get flipped for being a chicken or at least coz you probably couldn't beat Point (?) I actually liked the punch itself but you left yourself massively open there..........Sooo yeahh, lot of room for improvement...you showed a decent understanding of rhyming and creating punchlines but you need to learn how to land punches correctly, you obviously do your homework but that has to translate into heavy hits, right now you have some decent some flops...flow and rhymeage don't really stand out either way, like I wouldn't say "sort that out its awful" but I wouldn't say "yeah that was nice" either... DTK - Opener made me smile...but I think I already told you I don't like explanations that go beyond what you said in the punch...drinking problem line was nice, better if you supplied a link to where he said that to validate it, plus he disputes it so you don't get the extra points you might have done for that you....plus your rhyme was a bit stretched...Girlfriend flip would have been better if you actually included some of the content of the expo in the punchline, so yeah...would have been good, but was just a jab....I liked the next flip...the filler line after that was good dissing, the punchline was a flop...good attempt to diss his intelligence I guess, but didn't work....next punchline was wack, I don't even know what you were trying to get at, don't you know the meaning of http://rhymezone.com/r/rhyme.cgi?Word=impregnable&typeofrhyme=def&org1=syl&org2=l" rel="nofollow - impregnable ? Should have linked the filler diss, but nice diss still...next bar was sick, dope wordplay and a nice punch....Closer was another good diss and a good flip on his punch... You had an ok verse...good a few very solid punches in as well as a few complete misses, your rhyming was on the whole a little more simple than Kay's but same really applies as what I said to him...it wasn't awful, but it didn't stand out positively... Can see why Kay didn't want the flips in the battle, they kind of made the difference...I thought the combination of DTK's flips and his Phelps punch (best of the battle) got him the win...you both have the online battler problem of relying on an expo/link to get you the extra points that I think is irrelevant to creating a punchline...but when it comes down to it, DTK threw few harder punches in a battle were both verses were ok overall and lacked consistency in terms of punchlines... Kay - Wasn't really feeling the verse bro.. opener was pretty wack.. 2nd and 3rd bar was pretty lame.. im like on the same page with Cuba.. how the fuck is planting flowers considered some "fly shit".. that shit would probably be fly to a hippie or a homo.. the name play was ok but I really wasn't feeling it.. and most name plays on him are pretty much played to the fullest.. refering to your closer.. pretty much a swing and miss verse.. and the few that hit weren't to effective.. DTK - you had some nice shit.. the opener was tight.. you pretty much stayed direct throughout the verse and the flips were pretty good.. the michael phelps line had me cracking up.. again agreeing with what Cuba said.. best line in the verse.. you had a few slip ups in there but you still had hard enough punches to keep yourself on your feet..

Kay - Good flow, and a lot of nice multis that helped link some punches together, but your punches were just really indirect. There was a lot of referencing to DTK and a lot of attempts at Metas and Similes, but I just didn't feel them that much. There were a couple of decent bars, but a couple at best. DtK - Came pretty good man. Flow wasn't the best, but you seemed to work hard at linking your setup bars and your punchlines together. Micheal Phelps bar was hot, and you had a strong verse with the other punches. There were a couple stretched concepts that didn't really work for me, but overall your verse was good. Overall : DtK came a lot hard and a lot more direct. DTK Get the vote. -------------  I'm so fucking intelligent, half the time I don't even know what I'm saying... |
