This was like difficult to judge.. Manc forced punches and pure shit... some bars hit hard like one or two.. Then Lucky D get's on and destroys it,.. ill punches, and decent personals.. Then we have Nep... psh.... he wrote a alright verse, still weak for the most part.. A lot of bars hit hard.. and he had a few good punches.. Then cal. This is verse the battle is won.. ok i must first say that i read and re read and re read this battle, and even check links..nep that craps link does not allow us to see it.
now i believe all gentleman made proper war, and this was a close battle, i will simply say what i liked and disliked about each verse....and we will go from there..

cons- lots of english references...which made ALOT of work to verify slang, lingo, black and white color schemes for a yank like me....just saying man...i already have a job lol...also the cod fillets was kinda forced, and thats not just becuase i am a cod fan i promise....fill it...fill "ay" is how we yanks pronounce..unsure as to how you brits do...so maybe it works for yall, but not us...sorry...it was good in theory
pros- all that english stuff worked! and fit! your wordplay was ridiculous! the cocked knee...and omg that nep wordplay at the end was ridiculous! i read that and was like "man how come i never thougth of that!!?" yao ming? all in all excellent verse~! i was very impressed~~!

pros - well sir, your verse was ok...i liked how you showed jehu "blasting" cal...even though i though jehu was kinda wack....and i was loving how you brought the truth of how O would battle moi ( and get his bitch ass served~) but wouldnt battle cal...ouch!!!! especially cuz cal hates me, that was a stinger!!! well done~!
cons - aside from my line, which didnt really flow!!!! (wtf!!!) nothing really stood out, i wanted blood, carnage, mayhem..i feel like you kinda softened up some of the blows, and your mid to end of your verse with the exception of my line, didnt really do it for me, it would be good enough to win a regular battle, but this is the finals...just my honest opinion...no beef...

pros - you have a ruthless streak in you, and are not afraid to spit on your opponent after you urinate on him, if you catch my drift....that vegas line was raw (especially since i am eagerly waiting for fallout new vegas on the ps3 to come out this month, which made the line resonate even harder into my soul!) you did pretty good here!!! your disses were all pretty consistent, and some what hard!
Cons - to be honest man, i felt like you destroyed lucky, but let manc ride, ya feel me? let the mans kidneys go...he couldnt help that! its kinda like i was told in my orion battle...just hitting the same punch over and over again.....one punch would have been fine...but it seemed like you had nothing to say about him!

pros- i must say that even though we have had beef in the past, i like the heck out of this verse! i like how you big upped your team mate, i also like how you essentially proved how bitch made and shady your opponents past actions had been, and manc you my boy and all, but cal exposed that shit about rapdisup yao ming!? and whether it was a fake personal or not, that was the kind of ruthlessness that is needed for a final!!
cons - as much as i hate to say it, i didnt see a whole lot bad, about your verse, it was pretty solid man...you know nitpicking stuff...like add some more multis but really, you did fine...ruthless man.
the verdict
i think mancs verse was the best, and his nep name play absolutely floored me and kicked me in the ball sac....i think lucky dropped the ball.....i think nep did ok, but kinda let manc slide, but did better then lucky....i think cal dropped solid, maybe not as awesome as manc with the skill and wordplay, but certaintly ruthless enough to hang, and outshine lucky.
so although i think mancs verse was the best, both nep and cal did well enough together to beat their opponents! i feel like nep and cal were a more HOMOgenous mixture (rofl!!! get it!) and did well enough in this TAG BATTLE to claim victory! no hate guys i love you all anally....take it or leave it!

I'm no mod, but since Nep has been sayin Woneduh is BG then I wouldn't count his vote. Since nobody has said anything about it, it's being left to ride?
also, Cap needs to explain his vote better. I think in blind drops, people deserve props for busting the other crew by predicting what they'll say, but I don't think it can qualify as a catagory.

i thought nep & cal had alot more quotable lines, and manc's verse was ill but i think his references went over my head, yes, he explained it, but i like to catch shit immediately, makes the punch harder, but thats not his fault, 'cause his verse was serious, lucky d had some cool lines too but i felt like a lot of those lines were just minor hits, no K.O's , except for the german line, that actually made me lol nep& cal also had more polished verses, imo so mgvt : to new era, lol yeah i'm a new era head so feel free to hate on my vote, but it is what it is, i'm being honest ------------- |
