A good month for open of the month contenders especially with the back n fourths between LI and HG, there are probably LOADS that could of potentially been picked as choices, but these are the ones i personally picked out from the members...So yeah get voting bitches

Damn, this was a dope month too. Even with the thread revival and bumping of old threads, there's still been tons of dope shit this month. Looking at the open mics for the month of July, I'd say J5 and Chain have edged it from all the above contestant. So it all come down to who should I pick? weather it's Chain or J5? J5 brought more entertainment to reader such as the mentioned spit "facebook stalker" "The day music Died", "The air jordan of Concept" "Speaking my mind on the daily grind" and "the fashion police". Likewise Chain also brought some mind blowing entertained verse such as the above some "suitcase of the Masks", "Conformity", etc.. I'd say J5 brought more entertainment and all his spits have different concept from each other. He made alot of verses this month and non of them were bad but dope.. The rest: J Sass current spit was one of the best dissing verse I've seen so far but his last verse where he was talking about his crew had some lyrical mistake and the mistakes were pointed out from the readers Manc, also had good verse, some of them were simple and some of them were complexed.. I'd say he's close to J5 and Chain... but he'll get there in no time Dtk has been spiting alot to defend his crew or to back him self up.. but his elevation is rising after each spit Jay only spit few verses and if he want to be more recognized then he need to spit more... What, are you stupid? You're voting on which verse is best, which indvidual spit, not on what someone has or hasn't done. So basically, pick your favourite OM dropped over the last month and vote for it. MVGT/ Sass' LI diss. |

Mann...this was a hard choice for me......came down between Chain Manc and J5 Chain came all the way from left field with that Masks drop. Manc has just been on fire latley with war tactics showing it in that nice writ about HG in flames. J5 is ALWAYS consistant....always dropping topics from every aspect in life and proving he can turn ANY topic into to platinum with that. My number one pick is J5 for his drop "_The END http://www.lyricalassault.co.uk/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=21735&title=the-end Tie with second would be Mancs drop "A Dark Night" and Chains epic writ "The Redeemer" Tie with third would be Kosmosis's piece "The last Tree on a dying planet" cuz that concept alone was fuckin raw and the niggah should get full props for it. Then J5's "The air Jordan of concepts" Then Mancs drop "Forget flow" cuz that shit was pure fire flex. It was a hard choice but at the top for me was "The End" by J5 ------------- |

Fashion Police takes it IMO. Only other one that comes close was Sass LI drop - but Fashion Police is my preference. N by the way - is there a point to this (for the winner)? Like a hall of fame list or suttin? |

I gotta go with Sass... it was really a toss up between him and Chain, but I think given the context of Sass' drop and how nobody could hate on it... especially since it was a "diss" gave it the edge. kudos to everyone nominated tho.
