cuba- your verse was sick, i got the Big Game line!
the nursery rhyme was awesome too, overall if u had PB you guys would be on fire with this battle.
but other than that, flowed well, multis were sick and so on. nice fucking verse!
brotha goose- yeah, thats what im talking about, my favorite line from your verse was the 7th bar!
that flowed so well and had a good punch to it! you had not bad flow, you could of done better bro, and maybe added a bit more multis! but you doing good goose.
spume- you had a very good verse here. the borg line cought my attention, i only know that cuz i know someone who is a retarded geek, he loves star trek... but yeah, your verse was sick with punches, and the flow was tight.
overall this was fun battle to read, i loved it!
if PB would of been here they may have to it cuz cubas verse was fire.
BG had some good concepts but he needed to flow better and spume was the one who backed goose up with solid punches.
this is tough, even with one verse on one side, and two on the other...
MVGT-.... BG and Spume...

It's a 2 v 1 cos Point didn't send a verse at all. He missed the deadline he extended! I stated before the tourney I won't be issuing NML throughout, if the verse isn't there it's a N! Yes I agree if Cuba wins point has effectively been carried to the title.. But to DQ the other team due to one contender no sending a verse is 1. A poor show IMO 2. Unfair on the contender who did post. Would you accept losing a tag battle by DQ if you quite obviously had the strongest verse outta the ones posted?! Not saying cubas verse was or wasn't but my point stands. Which is why it's a 2 v 1 and still open to votes. Rules are rules. I set a deadline which was requested by PB to be extended which everyone agreed on, PB missed it. Rules are Rules. Period ------------- |

Then IZ's vote should be switched to Cuba. Reason why, he said Cuba had the best verse out of the three, and had PB done a verse then they woulda got the vote. However since it's a 2 on 1 now it doesn't matter if PB didn't drop a verse, and Cuba should get his vote for having a better verse than his two opponents. |

You need to make it clear what people are voting, because you've not done so. If it's 2 vs 2 then you have to DQ Cuba/PB for not both dropping. If it's 2 vs. 1 then the fact PB didn't drop a verse shouldn't even be a factor in the vote. |

But, that said, I think we either should've waited for PB's verse because it's a showcase event OR they should get the win via DQ. I know CJ is in a tough position, but the reality is...there was a deadline, we didn't make it. Rules apply to everyone, even the vets. -------------

First of all, my posting has nothing to do with the way the battle is panning out... I haven't read the verses and I haven't read the vote...I really don't care...the first I saw of the battle was when I got on so that's when I posted CJ Most people, for a final that's deciding a title, would just make sure we get a show, which means further extending the already-extended deadline...I'm not saying you should do that, and it's obviously not fair on the opponents who showed up on time, but that's how it would typically roll...people don't tend to decide titles (of any sort) by DQ...but hey, it can happen You've tried what you think is the best of both worlds and do what looks like the fairest thing, I get that, but it doesn't make fundamental sense...this is not a tag battle, it can't decide the tag titles...even if you wanna call it a live battle, it's a 2-on-1, not tag...this ain't football going down to 10 men...this is doubles tennis, Venus Williams gets injured then Serena is shit outta luck, the match is over Feels strange this is even a discussion...seemed obvious to me ------------- They just said that FUCKIN' with me They didn't mean it Nah . . . |
