damn... dope battle... have to break this 1 down... sparta... opener was nice... good flow, well worded, good play... punch lands... followed suit line was ok, nothin' special tho... wasn't feelin' the 3rd bar that much tbh... flow was nice, an' tho it was kinda funny, didn't hit that hard... 5 years late was cool, good bar... good play in the next bar an' relevant punch... hits, but again, nothin' killer... closer was dope tho, well done... overall, this was a good drop... plays were all relevant an' nicely delivered, but the punches were only good, no real knockout shots until the closer... senor perfecto... opener was ok... good flip, good idea, but it was actually stretched here, which i didn't expect from you... still, decent bar due to the flip... followed fatal was another nice flip, good bar... next bar was a clever flip, but didn't have a punch... same wit' the win at all bar... not exactally strong because sparta DOES bring strong verses quite often, so it doesn't hit IMO... wasn't feelin' the next bar, no real punch all though the setup was nice... closer was ok... good idea, nice personal, but again, the punch was not direct enough to do damage... overall, your verse had some effective flips... an' after the first 2 lines, the flow got right back on point... but you didn't capitolize on the flips because of the lack of punches... basically i feel that this battle came down to punches vs. flips... an' if senor's flips would've been more direct or included stronger punches he would've taken this... but i don't think the flips were strong enough to overshadow sparta's stronger punches, an' overall originality... therefore, sparta GMV

Sparta-I actually thought your second verse was much stronger tha your first..In tha first one, some of your attempts didn't quite hit him as hard as I'd like to see. In your second verse however, your opener was a good hit, and tha Perfecto line was decent too. And I like tha closer also, with tha attack on his flips.....
SP-See I thought your first verse was better than your second..Tha opener of tha first was a classic line in my eyes, same with tha closer also..dope as fuck. Your second verse had some moments of greatness also, with tha undergrad line, nice touch. Tha closer however I thought lacked substance.
Overall- Too me this was a good battle. Each of there verses had moments of greatness and spots of blaaahh,, But overall I would have to give my vote to Senor Perfecto, based on tha fact that he had more consistant punches in his verses, on average between both. I think that goin' second helped him out, with bein' able to flip, but that is irregardless.

Dunno if crew votes are allowed? If they arent, jus ignore this lol Dope battle... sparta, opening two lines were ill... first verse was very consistant... senor, your first verse was cool, had a few nice flips but not as hard hitting as spartas first verse. Oh, and the line about me duckin CJ is not true...i didnt set up the crew battles, AND i called out CJ and KO'd him like a month after... so yea, swing and a miss... Sparta wins round one... next round, sparta had a few nice lines, like the uni line, and the job line was a good personal... rest was average IMO... senor, second verse killed it... undergraduate, mod, and "voting before you battle me" were killer lines... the one about smooth voting before it was over was ill... you also flipped his line about "past ya eyes" which was sick... great wording...
Overall i felt this was a tight battle... sparta won the first round while senor killed the second... so there wasnt a real "clear cut" victor in terms of who won the rounds. All in all, id have to say Senor had the harder hitting punches... however, without flips, sparta would have took this.... great battle, props

Nice battle guys..
Sparta your first verse was nice man, came at him from the off.. Couple of ill lines in both verses.. The Mao an' followed suit lines made an' ill openin' closer was tight too.. Your first verse came off better than your second for me, actually there both pretty tight.. Flow was cool too.. Senor, your first verse was okay.. The opener was nice an' i liked a few others, nothing stand out though, just a steady hittin' verse.. Your second for me though was the best verse in this battle, from the opener an' all the way through the hits where hard.. Loved the Rap-Sites bar and the next 3.. Real solid punches.. Flow in the first verses was iffy, some very long lines but the second was perfection.. Vote.. Senor.. |
