I'm brand new here but I have to say that I went through the BF first thing to vote some battles and couldn't really find much to vote on. This was either because both or either battlers haven't dropped. I got uninterested quite quickly after opening a bunch of senseless threads. Seems a lot of battlers aren't dropping on time or have completely abandoned their battles. But the mod work looks up to date in that area because there was really nothing for a mod to close unless they were just to clean up outdated or forgotten battles, since about 75% of them seemed to be just that.
On a side note, is this the reason that I am not able to create a "call out" thread? |

If I can be any help let me know. I know I'm new, don't know anybody, but I've voted, and dropped Open Mics, and im interested in building my image on this website (as well as others.) It's a great platform to create an image for yourself, like I am trying to do, as a lyricist. I use the same name on every website. As soon as I get back into touch with technology (just did 3 years) i'll be making audio, and video too.
Suggestions: Other sites require VOTE links to battle, and the rules are strictly enforced. Other sites have credits gained from voting that are used to open battles. There is a lot of talent on this site from what I've read, but don't you think closing something people are interested in isn't the right move to make? If you don't have support already, won't that just push people away? I came to this site to BATTLE different people. I thought maybe it was closed for maintence, left for a little, came back to see if it was open before I stumbled upon this. If I didn't find this, I possibly would have just given up and moved on. But I admire the fact you're asking for people's participation and I'm offering my help in any way possible.

Well soon I would think. Allot of battles need closing I went to vote and came across a few. Jbrenn I see has been putting in work. Most mods are busy as well as Scotty. But got vote on some remaining battles. If there's nothing left hit up cyphers, open mics, or chats. Battle field was closed due to cleaning for almost two weeks I think. There was 5 pages. So this shouldn't take long

There are plenty of battles to vote on, especially if you venture onto the mysterious and unknown world of Page 2.
There are also plenty of battles awaiting verses. People need to drop their verses before going setting up new battles. If you can't keep track of your battles, don't have so many. Djackal, I deleted a few of yours and you still have a few needing verses. |

Yea I can't find much patience for topical battles either unless it is somebody really good like Ex.

Sorry if its been mentioned, anyone mentioned maybe lowering the battle number to 2 per person? I know looking at the field when it was like 3 pages it's like where the fuck do you start.
I just fear as soon as it's re-opened we will go back to how it was, 3 pages!

I think Scotty knows how much we all frequent the site, so the battles should be getting closed that same day... It really doesn't take long to vote.. If you have enough time to drop a complaint in here, you damn well have enough time to vote.

Or another idea is limit the battlefield to only 1 page?I know that has its complications like some noob dropping several battles, but surly that can be managed?

There should be roughly 4 mods who are very active managing the battlefield to ensure closing of battles happens promptly.
As for how many pages should be open at a time, it will stay low if people vote. And yes, a limit of 2 battles open at a time per member should be set to ensure the battlefield stays clean.

Please re-open the fields now, alter the battle rules slightly, 2 battles per person or limit the fields to 20 battles at a time or something!
I can't keep coming on here and seeing 700 active open mics and dead chat in other threads. I want to peep some battles! |
