I'm not makin' out like it's your fault... sure it did start with your decision to say I can't be in in the signups thread (you didn't even give me an option to ask ILLA, and end of the day it's your site, so I figured that was it, final decision) but we all know problems aren't ALWAYS mainly due to the thing that started them off... and in this case I ain't blamin' you for it, so it's cool

2smooth did get it right, there is too much bitchin' on LA, but still less than every other battle site... it's nice you're all strivin' for constant improvement but also learn to be grateful for what you've got and put shit in perspective... this place isn't bad at all in comparison

Nonetheless I didn't start the bitchin', I never do, and this time in fact I specifically asked for no one to argue about this shit, just make a decision and let it go... but no... no one could do that... I always try and avoid tha argument but when it does pop off I make sure to set shit straight so I'm always tha one that gets called on it

What you're talkin' 'bout with this bend rules sometimes and not at other times is somethin' called discretion... rules are never all-purpose and perfect - they can't be... So the person(s) in charge should use their discretion (i.e. better judgement) to decide in which cases the rules should be bendable, and in what manner and to what extent... It's about logic... a simple way of puttin' it is... what is the rule there to prevent? If bending the rule doesn't reverse its goal then there's no reason not to bend it... I know...that isn't exactly simple...but it's as simple as you're gonna get, believe me that's the short version...

By the way... Nobody claimed you were corrupt for keepin' the semis movin', people claimed you were corrupt for the semi-finals draw... And people moaned at you the round before for different reasons

But yeah... let's say we apply discretion to this situation...

Whereas the "breaking of the rules" with XX, Zikki and Mackie dropping first was obviously harmless... and me being first reserve, once things were explained, was also harmless, that's led people (basically ILLA senor and Scotty) to believe this whole senor perfecto/Orion vs Nox is also harmless...

The check-in deadline is there for people to show up and so opponents know for sure who they're facing... senor did show up, and was barely late, so discretion tells you he should be allowed to drop... BUT when you add in the factor that first reserve was on at the time when the deadline passed, the whole situation changes... There was no rule saying I had to wait for ILLA... senor wasn't around, he coulda been 5 hours but he coulda been 5 days... he'd not made any effort to show up at all beforehand... the rule was check-in by friday or be replaced, it was still senor's friday 'cuz he didn't sleep but again there was no way for me to know that as he wasn't around and hadn't been around... I wanted in, so I admit I took advantage of the situation's technicality when I dropped... but at the time of droppin' I knew that this would either be a 100% positive move as it would keep the tourny active, OR it would still be the greater good of any outcome, as the only other possibility was senor basically doin' what he did, which is wrong... so what's worse, taking advantage of a technicality or abusing it?

It's really unlucky for senor, no doubt... but as I had already dropped he shoulda taken it as a lesson learned to stop tryna fuck with the rules just because this site rides his dick (and people say I'm the ridden one? All I ever catch is bullshit from you people)... I mean when I made the double account of Ghost all I did it for was to view my old battles... that was much more harmless than this but I got given ban points on a technicality and I just accepted it as a lesson learned... But senor's ego won't let him do that, he's still sat here now tryna act like he did the right thing by droppin' when I already had... when I dropped, that was his cue to leave... but naturally all the important people sided with him, and I wasn't prepared to argue so I left it... I LEFT IT... and people are still arguing with me just because I called it bullshit... it was bullshit, accept the fact you made a bullshit decision and get on with it, I ain't askin' you to change shit or apologise, I'm just callin' it for what it was

u added a reserve against me 2 days before the due date...When i already had my Verse wrote n Recorded for the other guy....Its different Addin a reserve a week before the due date..or even 4-5 days cos it gives the other guy a chance 2 write sumthin.

Reserves are agood idea...but its Shit if there added 1-2 days beforethe actual due date if the other emcee has already dropped.

 

Ok, now that Orion is in I think we need to debate the rules about who you let come into the tourney and when...

Coz Nox hasn't no-shown, he cudda wrote a shit verse, a two-line verse, a 3sentence verse, just coz u haven't got time to put down a great verse to the best of your ability doesn't mean you can't put something down, he's been online at least 3 times since the draw and its 12lines...6bars, that isn't a lot of shit to write, lets be real about this...nobody wants to see Orion or Jehu or whoeva come into the tourney, its wack, chances are Orion is gona win this tourney, and even if he gets knocked out now is he still the champ? Does the belt change hands?

I don't got a problem if he says "look I'm retirin my belt and you can have the tourney for the belt", but to come in as site champ especially, even no.1 on the rankin boards, its gay, I'm not tryna have a shot at Orion here, he signed up as a reserve and he shud get put in first, those are the rules...but my issue is that Nox basically chose not to write a verse, a no-show shud be that u cant get online and there is no chance for you to post your verse...I think even if you get online to say "oh my comp is fucked" that aint an excuse, its 12lines, u cud write that shit on notepad and email it to sum1, put it on a floppy and go to the library, waheva, from now-on no-shows need to be only for people that CANT post, not people that go "oh i cant make the deadline", and we also need to change the people that are allowed to enter as a reserve...coz honestly Nox and Orion aren't an equal substitute, whether you say "we replace Nox with the closest person near him to skill" or we say "only people with less than 20wins can be a reserve" or waheva, but somethin needs to be done coz its wack that a tourney dynamic can totally be changed like that...its like a boxin match, if that mf overweight thats his problem, you dont just go and get another boxer to come into the ring, its unfair on the guy that preparin himself mentally to face the otha dude

Also, we need a "3strikes and out" rule for tourney sign ups...coz Nox has no-shown too many times to be allowed to enter a tourney again on this site...at the end of the day one time is acceptable, 2times is sheisty and 3 times you need to get the fuck outa here

I'm not bitchin...I'm just sayin that we need to be clear about what we do and what we don't do so there isn't the hassle in the future...if you read it I said that you actually should replace Nox in this tourney, I'm just sayin its kinda wack to do so coz of your stature, ur ability, the fact that ur champ and ur reserve (i dont have a problem if its "i sign up and retire my title so the winner of this tourney gets the title"), like i sed, i wud still say its wack if it was Jehu, Illa, or sum1 that is basically better than most of the people in the tourney...
