That breakdown was ridiculous. I love how you analysed it so well, and for Stalin to say you hit the nail on the head, proves how you got each and ever bit of his verse on the correct level. That's the joy of lyrics - you can make what you will of them without necessarily understanding them all. But the way you went about this was as if you wrote the verse. Hugely impressive.

 

I loved this verse, and still do. I can't really write about my family related stuff, of that magnitude anyway - so it always struck me how much composure you (Stalin) must of needed to even be able to sit and write such a classic piece, and convey your feelings with the raw emotion that came across in your lyrics. As a parent myself - it hit a nerve when I first read it. And that's probably an understatement.

 

 

I need to catch up on whats going on, cuz Ive lost touch, but Im sure Ill see more of your stuff Sammy. This was an extremely good read though.
