Stalin - Upper Class
Still able to jump on my plane, take off like my investments do
despressions loose in the world but fortunes leave me recession proof
less stress than u cuz I dont have the problems like you do
writin huge checks for intuition at my kids private school
I always strive to do more than you can ever imagine
debts a factor for most but I chose to be better than average
Collect classic cars and bentleys, usually the rarities
People dont help themselves, so I refuse to donate to charities
My wifes got huge closests of clothes and only the nicest jewels
Daily deposits in me bank, I see so many $'s, its like its plural
priceless murals cover my walls, bought 2 cars for my mother in law
But I never see my middle class siblings, like Ive got no brother at all
gettin richer 7 numbers in my bank accounts like phone digits
my estates very large, plus I'm able to carry cards wit no limits
vacation homes where I take it slow and breathe in the fresh air
Life's a struggle for some but the futures gonna become my best years...

Chain - Middle Class
To stay in charge of everything I played my cards aggressively
I raised my daughter pressure free, but paid the cost excessively
Paying off the car note but my savings are in jeopardy
My mortgage is a demon that is raping all my cheddar trees
The IRS is vexed, made me hate my Volvo’s leather seats
I can not afford it, and my neighbors bought a S.U.V
Wal-Mart shit replaced the stake and lobster recipes
IKEA discount, but I say the carpet’s Lebanese
Stressing at the office, they laying off a lot of peeps
Que Sera Sera, I just pray to God they let us eat
No Aruba this year ‘cause they are charging hefty fees
For filing all my taxes late, won’t break me off some extra g’s
Man, I need the paper, a wake up call won’t heal this
I need a membership to a Mason lodge with millions
Where all those fucking bankers rocking David stars are chillin’
Directing these recessions while they’re taking on civilians...

Calibra - Lower Class
Had little or none to start with, I treasure my breath
Severed by debt, banks came and took whatever I left
Time is money, so I ain't have a second to vent
Depression instead from hard times the recession cements
Learnt a lesson I guess, but how can they sleep at night?
When the ground's freezin' and I've no where to sleep at night
I need a knife, to cut my throat not carve out a pizza slice
Ain't lead a decent life, taken more blows than a Kiefer fight
Tortured like Sutherland, im 24 and the Reaper's due
My reality brings more shocks to the system than Pikachu
Wish I could eat some food or own a Jeep to cruise
My only transport consists of usin' feet and shoes
One plus, no bills and letters for me to coast through
No home, so I ain't got an address that they can post to
In dire straits, don't have the priviledges that most do
On Sunday, I pray for help, you keep enjoyin' all that roast food!

This was a nice idea and y'all executed it well.  Chain's was the standout verse to me, was delivered perfectly and flowed real smooth, Calib's verse again had a nice flow but didn't have as much impact in the way it was worded/delivered, Stalin's verses had the worst flow of the bunch, just a little stretched in places, however it had more lyrical depth than the other two and if it'd have flowed aswell as them, would probably have outshined them both. Great read, stay up.

Chain>Cali>Stalin as far as flow and ability to rhyme like that and still make it seem vivid and real. It strikes me as Chain being the one actually in the middle class. As far as 7 numbers in a bank account; if the life the person's living is as you'd describe, it would have to be in the upper 8 figures. Nitpicking aside, I love the content and the concept.

This is the type of shit I would've loved to do, but I'm just not into writing much these days.

Yea this was really good, all 3 verses were impressive (especially the middle). If anything, I think the dude who had the 'lower class' verse had a lot more to work with and could have made a more powerful, emotional verse. But I'm probably being overcritical. Nice collab

I agree completely with Jehu, I thought the concept was brilliant and you all brought good verses to the party.

Stalin, I liked some of your wordplay...the phone digits was the best, I think you were saying that each transaction was seven digits across many accounts - so I wouldn't nit pick on it like the hombre Jehu...I liked the verse but think you could have brought a more in depth/emotional spin to it, like you cast him as a callous guy and almost played off the stereotype of a wealthy guy...would have been better to read about some of the conflicts the rich have, although money isn't an issue, is there anything else? You know...

Guess that's just a different approach I would have taken to it, like I said, but still a cool verse...

Chain, you absolutely destroyed it...really captured the essence beautifully, not really much more I can say...rhyming and flow was quality and some of the lines were perfect, the IKEA one stood out for me, simply for the contrast...summed up everything really.

Calibrizzle, very good verse in terms of lyricism...some of the lines were witty, loved that Jack Bauer wordplay part, that was sick...and you did try and get some of the strife that Chain did, but it didn't seem as authentic...that's more because of how good Chain's was than a sleight against yours, but it shows when you follow him...just unlucky! I really liked that "recession cements" line, that's your phrasing at it's best...

Quality stuff, whoever thought of this idea is a don!
