What's up peeps this is Cubes, your resident Identity Crisis hype man with your latest IC2 offering. With so much going on, it's hard to get confused. But don't be like Brad and go mad...

...it's debating time!!

I'm so cool, I can use GIFs...

Anyway!! The guys over at lordpuente.com thought it'd be a swell idea to do a bit of debating about the best verses of the first round of Identity Crisis II. Spoilers, he wanted to do voting, but his idea is shit so we're gonna debate it instead. FATAL WOUND!! (Just kidding, separate vote coming to your Active Topics soon).

The idea is simple. Suggest your favourite verses from the first round of Identity Crisis for the following topics:

Best overall
Best narrative
Best character development
Best mechanics

Shit, you can go wild and suggest other categories if you want. Maybe even best Lord Puente verse? Though one guy might have an advantage there...

If this proves popular we might even consider them in our verse of the tourney poll. More on that to come.

Best overall: battler 11
This was just my overall favorite price. I couldn't even decide to put it in best barritive or character development. I how we see the story drastically change and the twist in it was nothing short of being a fucking mazing. No joke, reading this was equivalent to watching a movie. I was literally picturing every line in my head as I read it. This was phenomenal and I expect this person to win the whole enchilada.

Best narrative: battler 23
I really dug this piece and how it ended with the blade under the dress. This was solid work and yet another twist. I mean I forsake her being evil, but I wasn't sure exactly how this would go. Very dope job here, I liked this a lot

Best character development: battler 11
He will get this one as well. That story was just so well rounded, great images projected through out and a nice twist on what happens. This was just hands down my number 1 verse by far.

Best mechanics: battler 1
Although they lost, I am flabbergasted by the mechanics they enacted. The had dope alliteration and the schemes were incredible with nice multis stringing along the whole thing. The narrative sucked, there was no character development, but the mechanics couldn't have been better.
