am starting to think of an "income" from the site

since i want a nice good name for the site (which i'll get later down the line)

and i *need* a MS SQL Database Server - which costs �280 (UK Pounds)

i'll set up a "Donate" service... where members can kindly "Donate" money to help with the "running costs" of the site later on

but now to the point of the message....

am thinking of setting up a shop on CafePress.com which is pretty good, it'll make and distripute the products for you, but you get sum of the money

now does anyone think this is a good idea? or is it a bad idea ????

members could do sum designs for this

and i could also do a "Lyrical Assault CD" - and point the best song from each member on a CD and sell that on the site....

and where are your ideaz on how i can get sum money to run the site? you dismissed the "store" idea..... so where are yours?

so "LA Label" would be like a Record label?

and if ya dont like the "shoddy crap" in the store.... dont buy it, simple as, i know a couple sites usin CafePress, and alot of sites have "shops"

but it'd just act as a "Promotional / Marketing" tacktick too.... since if sumones walkin round with LA T-shits, then people who see it, might end up comin to the site?

but i think the CDs idea would be a good idea... like a "Now 55" (or wot ever they're up to this week) but of LA Members - think it would be good my self

gotta find out how to distripute them (if i dont use cafepress)

umm i'll set up the "Audio Mic" forum up later

and could make a system to list peoples songs - an idea for me

i have a mic an wud do audios if someone made the beats..

i know  a other guy called dante who also wud do audios

Shop idea - Nice idea. Nice way to promote the site. BUT, remember, no one is going to wear a T-Shirt with just LA, with some corny design on it. If you really want people to wear that shit, consider putting a rapper or two on it. Or something like that, make it look like a nice brand T-Shirt, people are more likely to go on to the site, if they see its on a branded piece of clothing, or at least looks original and not fake-assed.

Label? Excellent idea. I'll do some audios. This could built up to something really nice. Believe.
