Between week 1, 2 and 3, there was only a total of 4 No Shows. [tesla taking three, and aminal getting the N in week 3]
Week 4 has given us 7 No Shows, along with rapdisup being very, very late. Its not good enough. For this to work, you guys have to post your verses. Its not hard to get 8 lines done in 7 days. However, if you feel you're not up to this massive task, let me know, and I'll remove you from the league. This week, the following No Showed : Tesla Lucky D Joey Nice aminal ProFound R.L.H Matt The Ripper I'm especially annoyed at the longer standing L.A Members here [Lucky D, ProFound and Matt] - I know you guys check the site, and I know you're active. I'm not asking for much from you here. I do all the work for this league, all you have to do is show up. This is just unacceptable. I expect to see the 6 that are around the site next week [Tesla excluded] and if I don't, I'll have to seriously consider any application you make to future leagues. I was surprised by the amount of no shows to. I came on the site after a busy week on Saturday evening expecting more people to be getting their verses down around that time, but there weren't. It took me like 10 minutes before i went to do a show to just come up with 4 decent bars. But what's more annoying is what part it plays on the league, because some people may have had KO verses, so if they go down or miss out on the title because someone turned up earlier in the league, then fucked off, then that's just.. Gay.

Yeah im pretty pissed off when you see those people on here everyday and still aint posted. I know Pro had seen the thread and has viewed it several times. Theres no excuse for not posting 8 lines in 7 days apart from death. Matts on here every day too... shame, ruins the league.

Joey - for future season [as is explained in the rules] - if you think you will not have time, ask me for the match up list, so you can write your verses early. So for example, you can PM me week 4's verse on week 2, if you think you may not be able to make it that week (for a holiday, or something)

2 week break in between seasons. Scotty and I were talking about having a tournament inbetween seasons too. Maybe 1 every 2 seasons.

Its too late I'm afraid. Why couldn't you have not left until the deadline, and perhaps posted a few days ago? Its not like 1 week isn't enough time to sort out 8 lines. Please, just make sure it doesn't happen again. We need to keep active on this, otherwise it wont last past the 2 seasons testing.

This is what happens when you wait until the last minute. I really don't see what the advantage is of waiting for your opponent to post first. There are no flips anyways...so post whenever the fuck you want. Just make sure you get it done. 8 lines in 7 days is NOTHING.
We can understand you guys have other shit to do in the real world...but at least half ass something in 5 minutes and post. At least then you don't look like a bunch of time-wasting douchebags. Tell that fat bitch on her webcam to cool it for 5 minutes while you write a quick half-verse. Simple. |
