DMX'S NEXT ALBUM ON G UNIT RECORDS?
-- On Shade 45, Whoo Kid mentioned that Dee and Wah [the CEO's of
Ruff Ryders] have been talking to 50 Cent and DMX is cool with 50 Cent.
Dmx is also good friends with Mase and Mase is actually the person who
talked DMX out of retirement.
Also on Shade 45, 50 Cent stated that he wanted to have at least 20
members in G-Unit by December of next year. He also said that Li'
Scrappy and Lil' Jon will drop albums due to a joint venture and that
Lil' Scrappy is a "G Unit Soldier". Paul Wall and Kool G Rap are close
to joining G Unit officially. 50 also says that getting Beanie Siegel
over was very expensive but also said that he still may work on
Beanie's next project. 50 mentions that Freeway's next album will be a
classic. 50 also has plans on starting G Unit South with Young Buck as
president and G Unit West with Spider Loc as president. He's also about
to sign two more artists from the West and a group from the South. So
far, G Unit's roster includes: Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Tony Yayo,
Olivia, Mase, Spider Loc, MOP, and Mobb Deep. --It's hillarious because i read a XXL article about 50 gettin more artists, and half of the ones he's doing joint ventures, doing major production for and actually about to sign were all on the list, Kool G. Rap for instance is about to sign so is Paul Wall, and Beanie was wanted be signed but his legal troubles would've driven finances out the roof. Lil' Scrappy has already been fuckin' with G-Unit, and the newest news is about DMX... and Freeway's album is going to be co-produced between Hova and Fiddy. Dude is a fuckin' monsta. period. |

well he must be pissed... cuz they're about to sign with Jay-Z and DefJam in despite of signing rumours with BadBoy and P. Diddy... I don't think the memories of Shiney Suits will please the Yonker gangstas... it's imminent. |

Besides AZ and Nas have to do an album together Joe Budden is loyal to Def Jam. Jay Z's gonna finally do the right thing for him. Check this month's XXL, which you already have, lol. Cassidy had beef with 50 50 is a fan of the Lox and Ja, of course he wanted to sign them. Pride is more important than money for them. |

This speculation about Nas joinin Def Jam is ridiculous..why would Sony ditch him now? No reason to do that, why would Nas jump ship from Sony? You dont make all your albums under one umbrella and then suddenly decide to jump shit coz u shook hands with JayZ on a stage somewhere, I'd be surprised if he did that honestly |

He's been trying to leave Sony/Columbia for years, so he's had to make
the albums they wanted so his contract is done. That's why Streets'
Disciple was a double album. Nas is confusing tho. 50 was right about
inconsistencies with Nas and who he is. He might still go back. If what
he said in "We Major" is true, he might just want a label deal with a
major. (DTP/Def Jam, Terror Squad/Atlantic, etc.)
