--After Arriving At the Battlefield--

The epic battle ensues, Sky full of arrows and I'm gallopin' through
On route to the feud, Until I get attacked right out of the blue
Someones about to get bruised, I think while I'm wielding my arm
Readied to attack, Gaze in his soul and see he's filled with alarm
Decide to strike now, No better time than the present
Still pissed so I'll just vent and send this piece of slime to the heavens
His weapon crashes with mines within seconds, We're intertwine with intentions
On surviving, He unsheathed a dagger, Takes a stab but divine intervention
Kindly prevents him from piercing my armor, I'm enthralled in the fight
Noticed the fatigue effectin' him, So I push forward with all of my might

A powerful strike does the deed that lead to the kid gettin' welt
Thinkin' fight's over as I come to my senses....
                                                                   ....I think he shitted himself

 
An hour before the battle, had been shackled in a room
when five guards busted in to seal my impending doom
stabbed me twenty-four times in the stomach, slashed tendons on arms
ripped calfs, shoulders an eye… and the armour conceals the harm

Dragged out to a roar, emperor’s son been waiting to gut me
my shredded muscles tense, regain strength as the adrenaline’s pumping
body in tatters, that’s not what matters, can feel the force
ask myself can I win, and the answers of course
he charges at me, I side step, then swing the sword
the carnage the gore, blood spurts his head hits the floor
Shocks turn to an uproar, im victorious having fun now
Till I turn my head to the emperors box, and I see the “thumbs down”

Hmm Ill feed this when i get home, but ill vote now expo later,

Dal: original story, even had a more, personal perspective ofwhat wouldbein the mind of a gladiator, i doubt they were all as they were portayed in the movies, so using words like...asshole, gave him more character. was a good read, incorperated nice multis and some tightlines.

Woods: I would have expected better from you defending the title, story turned out to be predictable, as we all knew this dude was gonna die after the 2nd verse. and like the votes above, I can see this being a spin off of gladiator. simple lines, no multies that stood out.

i find it hard to believe you've never seen gladiator, yet your verse was almost identical to the ending of the movie...

if you were a little too influenced by the movie... grow a pair and admit it... dont try and say you never saw such a high-grossing, world-renowned film like gladiator... every one has seen gladiator... shit
