I reckon for any crew to accept you, you'd need to be fairly active for a while first. Too many new members come n go, n never stick around. When you've been a member for a while - n regularly dropped open mic verses, battled and generally put back into the site (voted properly, fed properly) you'd be in a better position to be in one of the crews.

Then again - if it's just that you wanna be in a crew for the sake of it - then I doubt any crew would be interested.
