Vote = Spume n Goose
Why? Goose had a slightly better than Levy & Spume had a slightly better than Zinaii...add it together and they have a better verse as a team. Realistically, everyone could've done better...I felt all were inconsistent, lack of quality in parts (eg Levy's tenuous rhymes at start of his verse, Goose with some pretty basic disses, Zin was a bit convoluted at times & Spume didn't really attack as much as I thought he might). That said, some of the ammunition was decent...couple of the punches made me smile but they weren't really constructed as disses particularly well...I.e. could've been landed much harder. |

Levy/Zinaii - if you wrote all your lines with the same aggression as the third bar in the first verse then you guys would of had great success. The second verse had a lot of stretched lines that killed the flow and overall it was weaker. Keep working guys, you had a hard matchup here.
Goose/Spume - you guys had a lot more punches that were effective, Spume led the way imo. Brotha..you need help with your wording, you have good ideas but they just come out wrong. Spume can help with that, I'd consult him about your shit before dropping and maybe he can help you out. Vote Spume/Goose |

Very close this. Sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. I'll do an overall summary and mark individually, then as a team.
Levy- Basically, your first two bars were a complete waste of battle time and space. Which hurt your chances. Whilst the 3rd bar got more personal, and then the last bar genuinely made me laugh, and was one of my favourites in the contest, just cos of the simplistic bluntness of it... 5/10. Zinaii- Yet again, a verse that was half good and half bad. The 1st and 3rd bars were crap to me. Whilst the 2nd was a nice one, well flowed, and hit the mark. And the last bar, whilst it was a stretch with the V thing, cos whilst I assumed it stood for Victory, as far as i'm aware, it's not a written rule within life.. If you got that it was victory from the first read, it read very dope... 5/10. 10/20. ........ Spume- As I expected from you as arguably the most talented and experienced, you were the only person to rhyme every end word/make sense/drop a personal on every line. However, of course, they varied in affect. I thought the first bar was very funny, maybe my favourite in the whole contest. The 2nd was meh for me, I dunno, just opinion. The 3rd was a good shout, but I feel once you'd pointed the 3 times thing out, you could've done much more with it. And your last bar was a nice little play... Not your best, but in the context of the battle, gotta give you a 7/10. Goose- The summary of yours for me, is that the first two bars were decent, the last two weren't great at all. First bar, nice personal. The second made me laugh, however, I will admit, you doing an expo on it made me cringe haha.. The 3rd was worded terribly, there was something there, and the set up made me laugh, but it flopped in my eyes. The closer was a write off, went off on your own tangent there mate... 5/10. 12/20.
