multies are over-ratted.....mostly you just end up sounding hella forced....i hate it when people put huge multies on every line.......you should just use multies ect to help deliver the punch....

theyre not overrated if you can use them properly, and make them relevant to in ya setup line to the punch line...it comes with practice, but i will say that most people jus' learning multies think it's the key to droppin heat which usually ends up making them forced...which is actually even worse than if they had went with a simplier rhyme that made sense...

yeah word...
but i would say they are over-ratted because alot of 'textcees' seem to belive that the order of importance is this
1.wordplay
2.multies
3.punches
which is stupid.....it should all be about the punch.....but if as you say the multies add to the punch then great...but i see so much where the multiple rhyme actually takes away from the punch....which imo is ridiculous.....
it's all about punches!
