Clash for the Cash: CFC Round 1: The_Guy vs Zinaii

Zinaii: Alright opener...a bit of a weak concept tho, really more of a humorous jab than a punch to me...2nd bar was your best one, good bar...3rd bar was a decent personal, but a bit of a reach since he did pretty well in LAX and flips were allowed on his part...still, you're at least looking for something personal there...4rd bar was decent, but it wasn't worked that smoothly...I actually think it was Dress who came with a T.G.I.F. bar that was much cleaner and hard hitting...this one was a bit iffy mainly because the TG and IF were separated in the line so the TGIF concept didn't really link up...5th bar was pretty weak...no real aggression or clowning in it...Closer was cool, although the wording of "all over the guy" is a bit awkward if you look a bit closely at it haha...Overall: There were some decent shots in there but it was really missing some aggression/venom in some lines...I know it's a crew-mate and he may not have many (or any) personals but it felt like some lines were were worded pretty tamely.

Opener was tame, not entirely sure how its a diss to be honest, i can imagine its tough battling someone in the same crew but you just need to go at em hard dude. Second bar was a lot better, i love that punch, not seen that wordplay used on him and it works well, good bar. The traceur bar was aight, the whole "you flip" thing isn't the best personal because flipping is in the rules and its allowed, its not like biting or recycling. That "win(d)" is forced in a text battle, the d in wind can't be forced as silent, saying wind with no d is literally saying win, two different words, it'd even be a stretch for audio, i get the TGIF thing as friday so end of the week, but when you say a big I.F. does that just mean if? Or is there something else to it that I'm missing? Because saying "a big if" about someone winning, to me, ain't much of an insult. The hackers anonymous thing was kool, but i think the Guy Fawkes play was a good concept and you possibly good have done more with it and been more direct, "guy gettin burned like the 5th of november" maybe something like that, more to the point. Last punch was simple, nothing to make me jump out of my seat though.

Overall: there were high and low points, more of the latter unfortunately, loved the Guile punch though.


Stating I lost in LAX is played, Zin thought he was soaring but his flight was delayed
He had fatal collision with LAW but couldn't even manage denting his blade

Opener was only ok to me, its weird cos i don't know how to feel about the prediction of him mentioning LAX, like if he does mention it isit great? And if he doesnt isit whack? I don't know. He did mention it which was fortunate for you but it just isn't a diss. And the first bars punch was nothing to make me phone home. Ooo ok damn, that second bar is personal, you didn't hold back even though you're crew mates. Not the best of punches but its a good personal. The DTK punch, to me, is only ok, why? simple, because DTK is the ex champ, there is no shame in losing to him, heck i lost to him, so it isn't much of a strong personal, the concept was kool though, the under dress thing was kool. Ah the old jersey number on his back, i used that punch on someone who was ranked 23, "leave 23 on his back like Michael Jordan". and that was in my early days of battling, so for an experienced battler? i expect better to be honest. And current and durant is forced, i may be from the UK, but that is still forced. Zin and Zen is again forced. Its a different sound, if they sounded the same they'd be spelt the same, dies BED sound like BID? does TEN sound like TIN? No, even on audio it'd sound forced. Last bar was ok, the world war z thing was kool and it was nicely worked.

Overall: damn, i expected so much more from this, the crew leader thing was your best personal and probably your best bar.


Verdict: its very close, the guy had the best personal with the crew leader thing and i felt like zinaii might have had the best punch with the guile thing. So those two bars aside i looked at the rest of the bars and think the guy, only just, edged it. But he'll need to come a hell of a lot stronger in round 2 if he wanted to progress.
