Gotta be honest here. I was hoping for more out of this battle.  I thought Scoot would bring hard personals, and I thought Sal would bring something for being around this site for so long.  I will say, Scott you had some decent ideas, I just think you fell flat on the delivery and execution. You could've built upon how he was here for 10 years etc, instead of, his shit never gets played. Like i said, you had a path. Sal... Since you are high and mighty I expected more. Go ahead, call it hate, I'm just saying it as it is. I will say, you had some good ideas as far as sentencing noobs. You had concepts, personals, and punches that were executed better than your opposition. 

I thought this was a decent battle...Sal, I think you did a good job of getting off fairly consistent hits against Scott, I liked the opener, nice metaphor play in the opener and cool play in the punchline, next one was pretty generic, ok punch nothing spectacular, Braille is a pretty basic concept but punch was cool, next one likewise, owning you again was cool punch without being stunning, flips was a funny punch, not seen anything like that before...maybe would've been a bit more effective if he could flip you, maybe the original idea was that he could so I give you a bit of a pass on that one, but it's still generic...Cinderella story was a bit of a jab really and very basic rhyme. Closer I didn't really like...

So overall I thought you stayed pretty consistent if unremarkable, last couple you let off the steam a bit which I don't know if you thought it was won already or not, but would hope you don't do that in future rounds.

Scoot. - I thought you actually had some pretty solid disses in here, I think really your problem was converting those into solid punchlines that maximised the damage against Sal. Opener was pretty basic, but I did like the simile to diss in the filler line, the next one was pretty good actually, I thought that was a pretty good slap in the face and possibly one of the best shots In the battle, only thing was it was a bit understated, you could've made it a lot more venomous / tenacious to really dig into him, pussies / fucked was relatively basic, I liked the way you connected it to the filler line which was a decent personal diss, binary superheroes I actually really liked as a concept, felt there was a show stopping punch hidden in there somewhere (not sure how you'd do it, but it's a really clever idea)...but as it was it was really short and (not often you get to say this around here!!) the transition from the setup to the hit was a bit too short so it loses impact...think of it like throwing a PM actual punch, you don't want to windmill but you do want to pull your arm back before you throw it, so it didn't really land with anything, but as an idea I really liked it,never seen anything like that before...next one was a good personal diss but again, delivered more as a jab , was a bit like a weaker version of the audio diss earlier & you have mentioned crews already so you're going over same ground a little bit. Wheels starting coming off here a little bit, bowl / towel is a pretty weak rhyme, and it's a generic punch as far as I can tell....I do like how you're trying to use the filler line to almost go 1-2 on him, it's just the second punch isn't that much better than the 1st one more often than not...next punch was again a solid diss that didn't really translate / deliver into as hard a punch as you could've done, and the closer was pretty much an extension of the same punch, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but neither of them landed strongly, good disses but not great punches.

Sure you don't need me to tell you, but this read like someone who doesn't battle that much, I think you had some good material and good ideas in here and actually if you were experienced in battling I think you could've taken this one, you got a lot of the fundamentals right & while you didn't wow me in any element you also didn't make me think "fucking hell this needs work", which is often the advice you need to give people. Really the main way you would need to improve this is to translate your ideas into harder hitting punches, you've just got to let him have it...this almost feels like a list of reasons why you're better than him (which is part of the battle many people forgot), but you need to really throw it at him and do it in an aggressive way to make it land & I think that's the difference.

Overall I thought this was pretty close, I don't think Sal did himself proud with this one, felt a little half assed in the sense that although it was consistent (nailing off to the end) it didn't really land with any overwhelming force. I think Scoot had better concepts and better disses, but his inability to translate those to proper punches is what cost him this battle.
