Emcee Lounge : Open Mic of the Month [OMOTM] 2018

So following in the brother Crimson’s giant sized footsteps here I will try to revive another classic LA feature
OMOTM is about to re-park its royal arse up in this place
April is already open and counting
I’m up in the driving seat to kick this off and will work it to start out with the hope it just goes organic once again

So This month seems as good as any!
As it stands I’m gonna just choose MY personal favourites at the end of the month
Maybe review a top 5 or sunfish like that?
Then pick a winner or in your metaphorical language (go there like a guy the morning after a coke binge)
Ironically that’s prolly not far from the truth
Bigger picture would be the community involvement and expansion

Yeah so I’m already collecting the necessary data for the OMOTM Reboot
I’m thinking of presenting it in Mag format “you already know know how I roll with that kinda thing”
Mainly reviews and breakdowns of the best open mic work, obviously there will be a winner
Not gonna go down the poll/ vote route! Just keep it as a JMO kinda deal
Hopefully get some guest editors “hint” and just let it grow organically

BTW SamFam if you check the HOF you will see that OMOTM was a big thing here at LA
