Are we really looking at ending possibly the greatest longest running rap forum/battle site? Over what? SS is upset over a new type of tourny not meeting his standereds? If this is about members acting childish or unresponable what can we really expect from a group of younger people? I say if you can trust your mods Scotty you need new mods. And if I am not doing a good job I'm sorry I failed you. But please don't kill a place like this it's help me through some of the toughest parts of my life.

I agree with Jbrenn.

The top battlers of LA whom built LA have moved on. The ones still around arent as interested unless there's a torney. Middle of the road writers have taken over the majority. That's the truth. Now mediocrity is the new LA standard and newbs don't have a fucking clue. There will never be a "golden era" of LA, nor any battle site community. The interest isn't there from that Next generation elevating it.

I just looked over the OM's....it's filled with shit from top to bottom. Most interesting in the battlefields is Onarolle vs Brimstone 3-4 as votes stand....which is a battle from April.

Not to mention every remark from Scotty is attempting to belittle everyone. For example CHAIN, that dude is a staple on the LA timeline...yet you'd rather ban/suspended him for speaking up? Great keep pushing dudes like that away. Guys like Point Blank, Art, fuckoff, Smooth and the list goes on are leaving LA. Why help a community when the owner of it doesn't even give a shit about it.

I honestly believe you know you've fucked up. Deep down, you had the site moving into a whole new stratosphere....now it's a shell of the hip hop battle community it was and never will be. So you're pointing the finger at us. I agree this place was once almost a socal media type site. People could talk about everything hip hop and beyond. Now you speak up slightly and there's ban threats. Russia has looser freedom of speech laws then LA. Its tragic how shit was mishandled. Now that last big push is to late.......which to answer your question Scotty, is why everyone is pretty much saying good bye to LA. Cuz they see this place is dead with petty Bullshit and egos holding it back.

I think sometimes we overcomplicate the simplest things rather then just going our and doing if....if you log in at least try to contribute in some kind of way even if its one vote or whatever...i think Scotty wants to see action and not so much just talking....he's paying money to run this site so I can kinda see why he would get upset

If we stopped doing the OTM's completely, in a certain amount of time, someone will make a post about it where everyone will join in on ranting and claiming they can run it, blah blah... We can only do so much, you guys have to participate. If you guys don't want the shit, that's fine, it's less work for us. Don't cry about not having anything more than a simple forum with limited stuff.

Yes I left LA and told the whole site to go fuck themselves roughly 2 year ago. And..? I'm not a mod or a vet of LA like you, so why does that bother you?
