I might of used the wrong words. I just meant how the page looks when you initially log on - the homepage. I've got a 5s so I'd probably stick to the classic version cuz it seems easier to navigate

I've been using LA from my big screen Sony Xperia ever since i joined...honestly, i had no issues as per Scotty, that the mobile screen being small makes it difficult to browse...maybe it is in other phones, but I would have rather stuck to the old styled site...
And yes , the menu glitch stil bothers me...:) |

Ok, so pretty much everyone prefers the Desktop version for mobiles. Simply stating you prefer the Desktop/Classic does not help.
The only way it can be improved is by people stating WHAT is better about Desktop or WHAT they dislike about Mobile. Specific examples would go a hell of a long way. |

Ok...I'll tell u what I'm missing...
Rhe first and foremost - I can't access the home page and other discussion forums. - the battlefield is fine, except for the fact that it no more shows the number of views the battle got, and to be true, it seems clogged, all battles stacked one over the other, last post maker's name and time written right under the title, of course that is not a problem, but still, it was a better experience browsing the old site, - plus in the battles, we can't see the stats of the battler, nothing at all, at least highlighting the battler's and voter's name would have done really great again it seemed clogged, u know, i liked it when member's names flashed their avatars and sigs, which is lacking right now....so basically, everything seems clogged and packed closely, which imo takes away from a good deal from the browsing experience... Just an opinion though, I'll still try to participate actively on this site, whatever changes are made... |

So it seems when I use the google chrome browser on my iphone, the menu disappears as I try to scroll down the menu. I can never get to the second half of the menu without it disappearing. It has nothing to do with ISP or whatever Titu was saying. However, when I use the default browser (safari), it works perfectly fine. So, I guess that's what the problem is for me. Also, I think what Manc was saying is that he likes seeing the "latest posts" interface that you see on the homepage on the website. I really like the cut down version of the mobile (no sigs/avatars, text size, etc.), but I think if you replaced the "news/announcements" with the "latest posts" it would be more useful as most people probably want to go to the "view active topics" button at the bottom of the latest posts anyway. Or at least, that's what I usually do. Still, with the menu working, it actually works quite fine. I just think a list of the latest posts is more current/relevant than a list of the latest news/announcements. |

I checked out the mobile site on my phone and I would def like classic better. To me the lettering was to big and it was harder to browse around the site. Classic looks exactly how it looks on the desktop. I have the LG G2 phone. |

Tapatalk isn't supported by the forum software used on LA - so that'd be impossible.

Yea, I like the additions.
Is there a way to add a "view active topics" button at the bottom of the latest topics box kind of like the "view all news" at the bottom of the news/announcements box? Not a big deal though considering the menu has "new posts" at the top. Also, viewing active users or people's profiles is a bit stretched. Any way to cut it down so you don't need to scroll left and right to view the whole thing? Every other page I've been on seems to be fitted nicely into the width of the phone, but those two seem to stick out. For the active users, maybe cut out some unnecessary info like the "last active" and "OS/browser"? If possible, of course. |

I thought there already was a link on Latest Topics, turns out it doesn't display for mobiles. So I've made the header a link to Active Topis.
As for Active Users / Profiles not fitting in, theres quite a few pages that need improvements to fit mobiles though I've done a few of them already. So that'll be a work in progress. Any other pages you spot, let me know so it'll be easier than hunting for them all. |

Don't know if any of these have already been said, not read the thread responses...
I'm on iPad 1. You have to click into a page before you can switch to classic view, you can't do it on the first screen 2. You can't scroll down when you bring the menu bar up..so you can only select the 'on screen' options 3. Every time I load a page I get the full submenu appear on my screen & disappear before I get the page, bit annoying... 4. Doesn't seem to remember my preference, I have to switch to classic every time 5. The submenu is pretty cluttered...I like the slimmed down version Scotty has on the main version, would be better if you could give a shorter list of main boards. Guessing most of these are down to the way the application is designed rather than what Scotty did...but just pointing them out in case there's any quick fixes. |

I prefer the classic version, the mobile version feels a bit dumbed down...not as slick/crisp navigation and it looks a bit more childish to me...like bigger font, bigger buttons...even the way replies are just looks odd.
Aesthetics aren't great. |

Alright trying it now and it looks a lot better. The home page is legit, pretty much how it should be. Although the menu problem is still happening but idk if that's fixable.
Text size is better. Seems like the right size for a mobile version. I'm looking at the battlefield and the layout is a bit messy. I feel like the battles stacked onto one another with the same colors and no borders kinda makes them blend together. If they were bordered, I think the aesthetics would be better. Now that I think about it, the forum jump option works great in place of the menu. Although the menu looks better. Idk if you can combine the two or something, or just put the forum jump dropbox at the top cuz it works better than the menu. Also, I think it's been said before, but when you go to a battle, the structure of how the lines were set up gets messed up. It's not a big deal I guess, but it makes everything seem cluttered. Otherwise good shit man. The homepage is pretty ideal and I definitely wouldn't mind using the mobile version more if it keeps improving like this.
