Just to clarify, any text that goes beyond the 16 bar limit (that's lines) will be deleted before it is sent to judges. It's not a 16 bar plus footnotes limit I'm afraid. Let me put it in really simple terms, live battlers don't get the opportunity after they've spit to recap all of their bars and illustrate why they were so good. We are emulating THAT sort of battle, over-convoluted ideas and "out-there" concepts won't play well. This is a case of "play to the audience/style," simply be direct. Think about it this way, everyone is in the same boat, and we want our battles to be more accessible to outsiders. This whole "old boys club" of LA with laziness and molly-coddling is the main reason we're struggling. We need new blood and we need to be more accessible. I've given you free reign that you don't normally have to get personals, stop trying to over-explain shit wordplay and get fucking personal and maybe people might actually enjoy something one of you has written in a battle for once this year, whaddya think?

And I'm forced to double post because this needs saying. The next person who approaches me to try and have me change the NON-NEGOTIABLE rules will lose their tourney spots. This is not a democracy, and we have the rules this way for a reason. This is the last I will say on the matter, this is not up for debate. Thank you.

same as the rest of text bro, just 16 lines, no pictures no additional text (so there's no 1-line extras) we're trying to keep the format consistent across the "styles" so that we can display them the same way in some of the promotional materials. Just think of it like writing a verse for a track I guess.
